About Us

My name is Antonio Alcantar and this is CVHolistico.

As implied in its name; CVHolistico started in the Coachella Valley as a way to bring together Complementary and Alternative Medicine Providers. Intended to be a network of Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Homeopaths and Mental health professionals it opened in Palm Desert in 2015. Although we continue to have a good connection with these practitioners; when the 2020 Pandemic started we were forced to close our offices in Palm Desert.

I grew up in Mexicali Mexico. I attended Universidad Autonoma de Baja California where I graduated from the School of Medicine Program in 2001. Soon after, I migrated to the United States. I have been working with Complementary and Alternative Medicine since 2003 and also in various orthopedic practices working mainly with injured workers for the past 20 years.

I was honored to study biomagnetism with Dr. Isaac Goiz in Mexico City. I learned homeopathy from BHI International Program which offered traditional homeopathy as well as homotoxiclogy training. Currently I am working in my Dotorate of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at SCUHS.

We opened the doors of our new office in the city of La Quinta, CA in 2023 and we hope to meet you here.
